Show Notes

This is a wonderful episode with lots of advice and suggestions from Kris Burbank, a coach for parents of people with disabilities.  She is the proud mother of three grown children, including a son born four months premature with severe cerebral palsy.

She shares her story along with Dr. Ellen Braaten, a co-host of the episode who has a brother with Downs syndrome.

Please also take a minute to listen to another podcast that we mention during the episode.  Remarkable group of three moms - all with children with Down Syndrome.   For three seasons, Heather Avis, Micha Boyett, and Mercedes Lara have become even closer friends than ever before. Together, they take on conversations in the Down Syndrome Community that not only we want to hear, but need to hear and share as we shout the worth of our loved ones with Down Syndrome.
